Help launch the inaugural Ishpeming Kriskindlmarkt — the Upper Peninsula’s first traditional European Christmas market. This free, family-friendly event will take place November 27–28 and December 4–5 at The Mather Inn and throughout Downtown Ishpeming, with an expected attendance of 5,000+ visitors over two festive weekends.

We’ve partnered with Northern Michigan University Construction Management students to develop a collapsible hut design, with market huts built by NMU students and local CTE students. The event is 100% volunteer-driven, guided by a steering committee, and supported through sponsorships.
